It Seems That Lies and Hypocrisy Are Par for the Course

It seems that lies and hypocrisy are parr for the course in human culture. People just don’t value the truth. They say they do, but in practice it’s only when it’s convenient. I get it, incentives being what they are. But living from the expediency of lies is soul destroying. It exacts a higher price than people know.

Many people come to awakening in pursuit of the real, the true. Because the fog of lies just gets too much, the stink of it. And it gets disorienting and distorting. People crave clarity and truth.

Awakening is just seeing what is, as it is. No lies, no distortions. Simply reality. And that’s Truth.

It’s all well and good focusing on the qualities of mind required for the apprehension of silence. But this emptiness is full, this fullness is empty. All around me I see fullness, I see…

  • On Spiritual Transmission

One field of consciousness appearing as everything. As a seeker I was always sensitive to spiritual ‘presence’. I noticed it in groups of TM meditators, watching Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on videos, yagyas, and the darshan of sages I met, even in certain places such as Arunachala. The energy was there, call it what you will;…

Is our conscience merely conditioning or is it a hotline to our divinity? Do we follow where it leads? Do we trust it? Is it our lack of trust that makes us suffer? If we trusted every move we make as right and correct, even divinely ordained, or at the very least inevitable, would we…
