It seems that lies and hypocrisy are parr for the course in human culture. People just don’t value the truth. They say they do, but in practice it’s only when it’s convenient. I get it, incentives being what they are. But living from the expediency of lies is soul destroying. It exacts a higher price than people know.
Many people come to awakening in pursuit of the real, the true. Because the fog of lies just gets too much, the stink of it. And it gets disorienting and distorting. People crave clarity and truth.
Awakening is just seeing what is, as it is. No lies, no distortions. Simply reality. And that’s Truth.
