We’re All Doing Our Best

We’re all doing our best at every turn.  We’re all the same in this, and however broken or messy we may be, we’re fundamentally oriented to truth and love in the end. The gravity of our essential being and goodness is always drawing us home.

And I know this is challenging to our understanding when we see evil and cruelty in the world, when suffering and despondency exist.

But when we discover and recognise our true nature, when we come to see ourselves beyond our trauma and conditioning and our limited identities, we necessarily become cognisant and sympathetic to the struggles and challenges of others.

In discovering ourselves we naturally grow in love and compassion for the other.

Know thyself. All else follows.

  • What Remains

Do I have an overarching thesis? Yes. It’s that our nature is Divine consciousness and our forgetfulness of that reality makes us suffer.
